Creation Process

Three Types of Jewelry

1. A lightweight papier-mâché pin sealed in resin. I take a perfect copy of the art work and add a gold edge then a black line and mount it on incredibly exquisite Japanese washi paper or art paper. I then embellish the pin with decorative beads of either glass, base metals or faux pearls.
   
   
2. A pin made of base metals and paper. I take a perfect copy and add a frame created in several parts. I then embellish the frame with base metal decorative findings, charms and sometimes rhinestones.
   
   
3. A collage pin made of base metals and glass stones or rhinestones. I create a composition using various collage elements such as vintage buttons, broken jewelry parts, marcasite etc.
